How long have you been a travel agent? "I have been a Travel Agent for 3 years. Yes, I started during the Covid shutdown."
What got you started/interested in being a travel agent. "In 2019 I started a "fan page" on Instagram. It featured the ins and outs of the Coeur d'Alene Resort Hotel in Idaho! I visited the resort all the time, and was starting to share my obsession with it to my family and friends. Then I saw an opportunity to become a Travel Advisor! The rest was history. I turned my account into all things travel. I love helping people narrow down their options. It's such a joy and an honor to have a tangible effect on the special memories. I have a passion for helping EVERYONE travel regardless of accessibility needs. Everyone should travel if they want to! I believe that people are over buying extra "stuff" and are ready to spend their hard earned money on time together building memories. You can't make more time and people are ready to spend their time wisely."
What is your specialty or area of expertise? "I specialize in Honeymoon's, Group Travel, Cruises, and Family Travel."
Have you planned many honeymoons before? If so, can you share some examples of destinations or experiences you've arranged? "Yes! The most popular trend is All Inclusive Resorts. Right now most of my clients are interested in honeymooning in Mexico. I have also had several couples go on some pretty epic cruises!"
Do you have any certifications or special training in travel planning? "Oh yes! I spend so much time learning everyday! I have too many certifications to list but to name a few. I am certified in all major ocean cruise lines, river cruises for America and Europe, I have my College of Disney Knowledge certificate, Universal Studios, accessible travel, group and luxury travel, and much more."
